Highton Classic Two Bowl Triples - Conditions of Play
The Classic will be conducted under R.V.B.A. rules. Two bowl triples will constitute the game.
Seven (7) games of fifteen (15) ends will be played, and the winners will be determined as follows: - 1. ALL MATCH CARDS must be checked and signed by both skippers. Two points will be allotted for a win and one point for a tie. 2. At the conclusion of the seven games, the team with the Highest Aggregate points Total will be declared the Winner. 3. If two or more teams have the same number of points, the team with the greatest number of SHOTS UP will be declared the winner. 4. If two or more teams are equal on points and shots up, percentage margins shall operate, and the team with the HIGHEST PERCENTAGE MARGIN will be declared the winner. 5. In the event of a WALKOVER a win will be given and the average shots up of that round will be allotted.
INTERRUPTED PLAY: • If any individual team is unable to complete a match, the match will be considered a WALKOVER and will be treated as in Condition 5 above.
• In the event of rain etc., the following conditions apply. 1. Programmed playing times may be altered, and/or games may be shortened. 2. The Tournament may be abandoned if NOT MORE THAN TWO ROUNDS are completed.
Prize Winners: • Teams are limited to one major prize or one best round prize. • If a side has the best winning margin in two rounds then they will win their prize for the first occurrence and the second best margin in the other round will win the prize. Highest % will split winners with highest shots up.
THE COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ALTER ANY CONDITIONS OF PLAY AS DEEMED NECESSARY.
