GDBA Ladders

Note: These ladders contains results up to the date shown, eg 16/1/2010 which is Round 13 for Premier and Round 12 for the other divisions

Note: errors on ladders ie no points for some sides are caused by no results being supplied. When results are clarified all details are updated as soon as possible.

Calculation of Ladder Positions

People have request information about the calculation of the positions on the ladders, because in some cases sides with more wins are lower on the ladder.

The basic explanation is as follows: Order calculated on Points, then Wins, then Shots Up, then Percentage of shots For and Against.

GDBA Rules for Competition By-Laws 23 and 24.

23. The order of sides in each division shall be determined by the aggregate of points scored by each side.

24. Where points are equal the result shall be determined by:-

(a) The greatest number of wins and then shots up and if still equal

(b) Result then determined by the aggregate shots against each side being divided into the aggregate shots scored.
