Premier - 5 correct last week

*     Its not easy playing on a new surface and that's what Highton face in Ballarat, But their good form should allow them to overcome the new side.

*     Queenscliff have a lot of experience and will ultimately prove too good for Torquay who will be better with Gary Banks back in the sidebut probably not enough to get a win over last season's runners up..

*    Webbcona had a loss to Sebastopol at home but should be too good for Central Wendouree even on the Central surface, which is back to good condition.

*     I can't see the Geelong West losing streak continuing as they have too many name players and experience, Ocean Grove  are reportedly still short one skip so i think this might be the week that West can win.

*     Sebastopol  had a good win last week against Webbcona in the only away team win in both divisions but Victoria have had good form and are last years Premiers and should win Saturday at Sebastopol.

Division 1 - 3 correct last week, missed  Ocean Grove and Geelong West

*     Bareena back on their favoured synthetic surface and after going close to Ocean Grove last week will be keen for a win. West showed good form against Cement but will probably now be good enough on the

*     Ocean Grove are hosting RSL at home and would normally be favourites but i think RSL play the grass surfaces better than Bareena have traditionally done and may get up in a close game.

*    Portarlington are away at Cement this week and again here is a side that in the last couple of seasons has foiund some form on grass. If McKeon can keep  winning this year they will always be hard to beat. They should get the points over a dissappointing Cement.

*     In the game of the two sides sitting on the bottom of the ladder (Drysdale and Belmont) both of who just seem to be going through the motions of playing, it is hard to pick a result but on the holding Drysdale surface the home side should be the win.

*     Leopold have to travel out to Lara and this should also prove to be a good game. But Lara form at home always seems good and should get up in a close game.
